  • If I could give Dave 10 stars, it still wouldn't be enough! My fiancé and I decided to wait until after we bought a house to buy our rings - which gave us plenty of time to look around, get quotes, and do some homework. Little did I know that if I just listened to all the smart Yelpers on here, we could have come straight to D&R from the beginning! Not only do you feel soooo elite having Dave all to yourself during your private appointment, but the prices can't be beat (and we know - we shopped around before coming here!). My fiancé was going to settle for a tungsten band we saw at a jeweler prior to coming here, but he really had his heart set on a woven band he had seen a long time ago. He described it to Dave and "voila!" - Dave was able to find one! Better than that, he ordered the band at no cost to have my fiancé try it on, see it in person, and make sure it was exactly how he envisioned the ring. (It was!) My ring was designed by me! I wanted the band from one ring, the setting from another, and the profile of another. Dave was able to put everything into their amazing software and give me a 3-D rendering of my ideal ring. When it came in, it was more beautiful than I could have imagined! The band was made to fit exactly and it is gorgeous! Not to mention, the cost for all three rings (fiancé band, my band, my engagement ring) was less (by about $1,000) than we were quoted for just my set at Jared (for a set that, needless to say, I didn't design and was only moderately happy with). Summary - you get better service, better prices, and a better experience! Why would you buy jewelry anywhere else??
