  • Turkish ice cream isn't for me......came here because I was craving ice cream....and at midnight, finding a dessert only place was not on my side. I saw Marash and noticed they had great reviews......so why not? I went to the little booth and waited for some service. The booth is extremely tiny and only one employee was there making and taking orders. This is a stand only joint with no seating. For checking in, I got two free scoops of my choice. I chose strawberry and chocolate. Okay......Turkish ice cream reminds me of eating marshmallow. It is dense and chewy, and the flavors are not your typical expectation of the ice cream you are used to. I tipped the guy the amount it would have cost because I felt bad. Anyhow, the strawberry in all honesty, reminded me of those cherry cordials you get around the holiday. That's the only way that I could describe the strawberry ice cream. The chocolate? I don't know how to explain that one! It was just different..... I guess I am not a fan of their ice cream. Maybe their food is the better choice versus their ice cream?
