  • Whenever I visit my favorite city Montreal I always think it would be cool to check out the local Walmart. I'm one of those weird people who actually enjoys shopping at Walmart. So I drove to Montreal on my birthday and my first stop was Walmart. This ended up being a one hour trip at the shortest. I could've browsed for hours! I headed straight over to their food aisles to see what's different than the U.S. I spotted lots of cool things like dunkaroos, vegetarian Rice Krispies treats, and cereals like vanilla Rice Krispies. My next stop was the candy aisle which took up most of my time. I was very excited to find all of my favorite Canadian candies at a low price and in different flavors. We ended up stocking up on coffee crisp (mini and regular sizes), chunky kit Kats (dark, black and white, and peanut butter) and wunderbar minis. The stores layout was pretty similar to the U.S. Walmart stores. I thought items were significantly cheaper than they are at places like IGA Extra and super C.
