  • We dined at La Torretta again last night, and as it has been since we discovered it about two years ago, it was FANTASTIC! The food and service was impeccable. There were six of us and four had the pasta special which had jumbo prawns, rock shrimp, peas and a scrumptious cream sauce. OMG...can't wait for tonight for the leftovers. Another had the Osso Buco (also a special) which was heavenly and one had the Hawaiian Sun Fish with a sauce on the side, and they said it was wonderful. We enjoy coming to this charming place when there is a special occasion and there were two birthdays being celebrated last night. We were all so pleasantly full from the dinner and really didn't think that there would be any room for dessert, but Darius insisted that he bring out six mini Cannoli's (two had candles) and these certainly added a delightful finishing touch to a terrific evening. The staff is always so attentive and Darius, the owner, has a great sense of humor, is a good conversationalist, and truly makes us feel welcome and appreciated every time we're there.
