  • By far the best shop I have brought my vehicle in years. After enduring the Dealer for many years, and performing a few 'shade tree' repairs myself, I found John (owner) and crew. I was at a loss as to why the vehicle kept stalling, and after being told I needed so much work by the Dealer, John took his time and (I'm guessing with much patience) had the vehicle up and running at a very reasonable cost. This is an honest business, at one point I told John to just start replacing parts, because I was frustrated with this on-going issue. He would not do it, but rather was professional and took the time to properly diagnose the issue. It has now been many weeks later, and another issue popped up (after 215,000-miles it's expected and not related to the initial issue). I called Lowery's; and John and crew actually came to me, as the vehicle refused to start. They took the time (in a parking lot) to run diagnostics and got the vehicle started. Turns out it's now the starter. And instead of pressuring me to bring to the shop to replace it, John tells me (since the starter had been replaced several years ago) that it is likely still under a warranty and I should try to go that route. I rarely recommend businesses/services, as others may not have the same experience, however, I would recommend Lowery's to anyone in the North Valley.
