| - I keep going back and forth on this place. So, let's start with the positive. :)
Pros:
-By far, the staff. We were immediately greeted with warm smiles and cheery faces when we walked in tired as hell at 8pm. But the staff was very nice and helpful
-Then, the next morning, we received a text message asking how everything was going with our stay! Amazing!
-Continental breakfast potatoes. The potatoes were good. I also appreciated the dairy/fridge options. There were several different types/flavors of yogurt. Three different milk options and cream cheese packets.
-The pillows and ac. The room was made very comfortable for sleeping. There were two different options for pillows and the ac worked really well!
-Rate. We received a great group rate on the room!
-Location. The hotel is RIGHT across from a massive Cabela's, near numerous restaurants, close to a 24 hour Dutch Bros and near the freeway.
Cons:
-The room had an intense odor of baby formula when we walked in...especially in the bathroom. I don't know, maybe I got the scent wrong, but there was definitely a smell.
-The shower floor was stained brown/burnt orange color. I quickly realized this is probably from the different color dirt in Arizona, but, it was a bit weird opening up the shower. I advised the front desk about the housekeeping cons and they sent someone over to clean it. It looked better, but it's definitely oddly stained on the floor.
-No fridge or microwave in the room. There is however a microwave on the first floor you can use, just not inside the room.
-Outdated. Everything was fine, it just seemed a bit outdated.
-Continental breakfast. I took out a onion/everything bagel and it felt a little sticky. When I looked closer I saw the bagel was moldy. :( The juice bar is also not good. The apple/orange juice is not tasty at all.
-The tv was fuzzy/snowy. The clarity was not very good at all on the television.
Although there may be just as many cons and pros, the rate, location and especially the kindness of the staff surely outweighed the cons.
