  • If you're looking for a little adventure to South Side and a quick and tasty dessert, The Milkshake Factory will satisfy your sweet tooth. However, they are a little pricey for the size that you get, and only gets more expensive if you want something more elaborate. The milkshakes and ice cream are good, but nothing that truly blew me away. The interior is small, though we did not have trouble finding a seat, it may be more difficult when it gets busy. This place is a Pittsburgh staple, though your local neighborhood ice cream shop could give you the same quality, and for quite a bit cheaper. If I were in the area, I would go again, but not my favorite place in Pittsburgh for frozen dessert.
