Phoenix is in the middle of a desert, but the fish here may suggest otherwise. The chef's choice nigiri sampler is as fresh as what you would find on a coastal city, and the garnishes on the nigiri are distinctive, innovative, and absolutely delicious.
I also loved the Chilean Seabass and Roasted Cauliflower- two dishes I try at most restaurants I visit- and I was definitely impressed. These are classic dishes done extremely well, and while the bits at the bottom were soaked in sauce and overly salty, they were still happily devoured.
Restaurant vibes were great as well-clean, modern, and a great spot for dates/business dinners/when you feel like getting fancy.
