  • Simply put - the night manager (after 11 pm) treated myself and a friend like we were some sort of hooligans while we were gathered for a wedding rehearsal dinner party. At 10:45 PM, we asked why the pool was closed (it closes at 11). The manager, without hesitating at all, said 'it's closed and if you try to sneak in, you will be arrested.' I mean, my friend is a lawyer and I am public relations and marketing professional. The audacity of this guy to label us as threats or the type of people who commit arrest-worthy acts is beyond insulting. I have sent a letter into the hotel management seeking a full refund to 2 nights accommodations and I would not recommend the Bertram Inn to anyone. I did not fly all the way from Dallas to be treated like a criminal.
