  • Our dog brought a young grackle (sp?) into our house, crippled, flapping in a circle and not looking like it would make it. These birds are loud, noisey, and considered a nuisance by most. I called our vet, who gave me the number of Fallen Feathers. A young lady answered and said to bring the bird to them as soon as possible, with no questions. There were birds of every type in the garage, the kitchen, living room and outside. How anyone sleeps there is a puzzle, but this family has obviously dedicated their lives to birds.....of any type. I will keep their number and am grateful to know there is a sanctuary for these situations. Thank you, Fallen Feathers, and bless you.
