Wow this place gets packed! And with good reason - food was very good and service was great too!
We went on an unusually warm Saturday night in February so everyone was out and in a great mood. Luckily, I made online reservations so they had our table ready when we got there- it was crazy how they led you through all these rooms filled with people all having a great time. I didn't realize the place was that big!
It's byob so don't forget to bring your booze :-)
Started off with a couple of appetizers - definitely get the baba ganoush- they serve it with this incredibly delicious warm pita bread - honestly there was not a drop left of it after we got done. We also had the Cigarette Borek (filo filled with warmed feta) super rich and delicious.
We ended up splitting the sofra grilled platter - definitely enough food for 2 people and we took a lot home and had enough for a big lunch for both of us! This was a way to sample a bit of everything - includes Shish kebab, Adana Kebab, Lamb Kofte kebab, Lamb Chops, Chicken Kebab, Chicken Kofte Doner (gyro) Served with home made rice, garnish salad and grilled tomato and peppers. I feel like the star of the platter was the chicken kebob - it was super juicy and flavorful.
We were too full for dessert but thank god we took home some baklava - they give you 4 luscious little squares that were to die for.
Will definitely be back - I heard the hummus was a must try as well. I think they also have belly dancers but they weren't there the night we went.
