  • Went to Golden Acre during a weekday, which is the best time to go when there are fewer people. There is a wonderful selection of water fountains at GA, ranging from small to very large. Just hearing the cascading water was such a tranquil experience! Their selection of lilac bushes and trees was outstanding and the scent was heavenly! I find there is much to look at and so much of it is enticing. Everything is beautiful and well cared for. I find prices for plants and flowers comparable with other greenhouses, except for their line of patio furniture. Their patio furniture is outrageously expensive; you can get better deals elsewhere. Other than that, I prefer going here, even though it is not close to where I live and it means greater travel time. GA is my first choice in the spring when I want to create a beautiful landscape.
