The worst experience ever. My dog got into some ibuprofen, so I took him here on a recommendation. The veterinarian suggested that they keep him overnight based on what the ASPCA poison control people said, no problem. I sat and talked with the veterinarian about my animals care over the next 24 hours, I felt very comfortable. She gave me the bill and I paid it. Again, no problem.
I received a call about 8 p.m. that evening telling me that I needed to pay another $600 in tests and medication then what was previously talked about with the first veterinarian. Of course I asked if this was such a concern then why wasn't it brought up in the beginning? When I told them I would not be paying another $600, I was told then I need to pick my animal up at 9 a.m. which was 5 hours Short of 24 hours. I stated this fact and ask them to shave off money from the bill that I already paid for and I was told no. I spent the next 2 hours fighting with these people about the bill. This whole time not knowing what was going on with my dog. It seemed to me that the care of my animal was secondary to the money they were getting from me. Near or around 10 or 11 at night I finally got somebody on the phone that had some sense about them. I was finally told that they would honor the bill that they charge me for with a full 24 hours of care and no extra charges to me. I feel this business needs to revamp their practices and actually put their customers first. And furthermore, Brittany a vet tech there was absolutely the rudest person that I have spoken to in I don't know how long. She showed no compassion and 0 customer service skills. She went as far as to argue with me and talk right over me as I was trying to explain myself and find out what was going on. I ended up having to raise my voice with her just so I can be heard. And then she had no care of what I had to say anyway or my concerns. I do not know how she still has a job there.
I am giving one star on this review because of the doctor that I spoke to last at around 10 who actually had some sense about her. I wish I could remember her name because I would give her a shout out. As for blue pearls business practices and Brittany the vet tech this place is the pits and I will never darken their doorstep again.
