  • My review was originally 3 stars but I am lowering it to 1 after coming back a few months after my original review to see if it has improved at all. First of all, their floor was small but in acceptable condition for a while but has gradually gotten worse. Obviously they have never heard of maintaining a floor or resurfacing a floor. Old dried gum, cracks, and VERY poorly done patches (that are worse than if they had just done nothing) litter the floor and make skating on the outside (and most places on the inside) feel like asphalt. Their sound system is terrible and you couldn't even understand the ''DJ''. The floorguards don't do their jobs, letting people just cut through anything, and go the wrong way. It did NOT feel safe skating here even though I am a very experienced skater. I have been into a lot of rinks that are just too busy and can't keep it all under control even with good floorguards but this place wasn't even that busy and the ''floorguard'' completely ignored everything while just skating around occasionally and not doing their job. Don't go into the bathrooms. They are filthy and look like they haven't been cleaned in a year. One thing I found interesting is that now in order to skate, you MUST be wearing wrist guards. They provide wrist guards for you for free if you didn't bring any. I always wear wrist guards and believe that everyone should wear them, but the ones they provide (I was with a friend who didn't bring them) are NOT comfortable and were in tatters. So if you don't want to wear wrist guards that lots of people have already worn (and probably not cleaned considering the work ethic of the employees here) BRING YOUR OWN WRISTGUARDS. The one positive is that the arcade games are mostly repaired, although there are still a few broken. You still have to be careful going to a session that is not busy because they will close if there aren't 20 people in the rink. I would be embarrassed to work in or own this rink. I don't think I will ever come back unless the floor is completely redone.
