  • I am having major problems with my deck which Arizona Creative renovated back in 7-13. I originally contacted AZ Creative as my old kool decking was chipping off in several spots which was diagnosed as efflorescing of the concrete underneath and it was very evident in several areas of the deck. I was told that the concrete would be ground down but there would be a possibility the chipping may return. I did a lot of research when exploring options for the deck renovation and heard very good things about this company and the bullet-proof product that they installed. I trusted the experience behind the evaluation and that it certainly wouldn't make sense to install a coating over a deficient substrate. Less than two years later the chipping had indeed returned, and in fact had worsened, which Arizona Creative was nice enough to repair under warranty. Now, we're at 2 1/2 years and my deck looks worse than ever with several large areas peeling off. Had I been properly advised that it wasn't 'possible' the chipping would return, rather that it was certain to return, I would never have spent $7000 on what ultimately turned out to be a band-aid with a two year shelf life. Regardless, I need a solution-a permanent solution. The company is not returning emails or voice mails.
