After much wandering, we somehow wound up here for dinner. At that point we were hungry and hoping for a decent meal. But we were pleasantly surprised.
I ordered chicken and waffles. I got a staggering amount of chicken, six good-sized strips, on a round waffle. I could barely finish it. Although it was strips instead of whole chicken pieces, the chicken was good - crispy, juicy, flavorful - but the waffle was the star, light and absolutely delicious. Served with pecans and maple syrup. It was a very good meal. David got a ginger beef stir fry, again expecting it to be decent, but he raved about it. The beef was top notch, tender and flavorful. All the elements were perfect. He said it was the best Chinese dish he'd had in a long time.
Our server was exceptional. Very attentive. The bread he brought at the start was very good. Iced tea was excellent and it was refilled frequently as was my water glass.
