  • After my long time photo studio closed late last year, I was in search of a new place to keep us going with our twice a year session. Thank you Yelp in helping me with my search and a shout-out to L L.'s informative review that helped me decide on here. I was in a similar situation as L L. and I thought his/her review was right on. This location hit all my marks. Convenient location, friendly staff, patience with my children, ease of reviewing and ordering of our pictures. Our photographer, Shelly, was very accommodating to all of my requests and made sure we got in all the different poses that we wanted. My youngest child is always difficult for pictures and this session was no exception. Shelly wasn't phased in the slightest and did a great job in getting his attention and making him smile for as long as she did. I felt the overall experience during the session was definitely 5 stars. But I'm rating it 4 stars because of some things. 1) When I first called to make the appointment, I felt the person that answered was trying to rush through the call. This was going to be my first time visiting so I wanted to be prepared. 2) There was no reminder call in the days leading up to the appointment. My previous studio spoiled me with this and I typically like these types of calls from any place of business. This is another opportunity for me to make changes if I needed to in case I forgot. I realize that they may not have enough staff to do this regularly but I think this could be really helpful to them, especially after our photographer said that she had a no-show appointment before me that she came in early for. 3) It is really important for hubby to get a CD with ALL of the pictures taken. I wish they had more options in regards to this. We ended up having to purchase the package of 12 prints/poses with the CD to get all of the pictures on it. The lesser package of 6 prints with CD would only have the pictures of the 6 prints on it. 12 prints were a bit much for me and I wish there was something in between the 6 and 12 prints that offered the CD with all pictures taken. This session was noticeably more expensive than similar ones I've had in the past. It is important for me to have nice professional pictures of my children and family so of course I will pay the price. At pickup, I found out the CD is really a thumb drive! Extra cool points for me. I'm overall pleased with everything and I think I found my new studio!
