| - Even though this place has awesome bands that headline, the venue itself sucks. First off, there is never parking. I always end up parking about a half mile down the road at an apartment complex. Once you get to the venue, you will feel overdresed compared to everyone else- unless you wore moldy sweatpants, wifebeater w/ food stains and your mesh trucker hat. The building itself is a bit rundown and junky. There are two stages- one for the headliners and the bands that open for them and a smaller stage for the heavier bands. There is some outdoor areas for smoking, but my question is, why not find a way to combine all this into one big stage w/ outdoor seating for the bands that could sell more tickets? Ideally there would be a way to combine the two stages into one big stage when needed, and be able to seperate when needed. And have extra outdoor seating when needed. Seems all of this could be done with those garage door thingies that so many other bars have. I should design clubs/bars, I could do a way better job. As it stands, the acoustics in this place suck. Plus there is no seating. Fine, I'm not going to sit when the headliner is there, but since there is about 5 hours of opening acts, I might need to rest my legs every now and then. The only redeeming thing about this place is the awesome bands it has. So far I've seen Great White and Adler's Appetite here... maybe another one I'm spacing on. But many other bands come here and it is cool to see them here because you basically will have a front row seat :)
