  • Coming from NYC, Junction 1504 seemed like a dream due to the space and the newness of everything. I can agree to the below comment with some of the call outs. After surviving (yes it felt like surviving), a year, I was more than happy to hand in my keys and run far far away. The apartments are beautiful. Dark floors, granite counter tops, cream/ivory tall ceilings, and balconies with every apartment. However, these are on the pricier side. Be forewarned like the previous call outs that there are additional expenses. You MUST pay for valet trash for $26/month. Electric, Cable, and Hot Water are all separate. If you own a pet, you have to pay additional fees. If you have a call out or a complaint, it won't be heard. 1. The parking is EXTREMELY LIMITED. I have had to park my car on the side walk after crawling through in hopes that someone was leaving. You will not be guaranteed parking unless renting an apartment attached to a garage, which costs extra money. I wished we were given a spot an apartment, because I know well that there are people that stay and leave during the night (no judgements on the booty call just want a spot). The parking is gated, so I feel completely safe being by the rail line and in South End. Yes, you will hear the rail line. It happens. 2. Hidden Costs The apartments are beautiful..don't get me wrong. The materials are extremely cheap. After living only a month in my apartment, someone came to fix a lighting situation, put a ladder on the tile floor, and cracked my bathroom tiles. After multiple emails, phone calls, and in person conversations, it finally took after 7 months my bathroom was fixed. Property Manager toook off $250 off my rent for a month for the inconvenience... but really 7 months out of a 12 month lease I had chipped and cracked tiles? Terrible customer service. 3. Move Out=Hell They want you to stay. They want your money. I was told by Jacquelynn the Assistant Property Manager, 3 months before my move out, that if I moved out a month before it would be fine as long as I gave the keys in enough time for them to clean and flip the apartment. When I went to do so a month later, the Propery Manger told me that wasn't the case, she made a mistake, and I'd have to pay the full amount for the month. When we moved out, we were given a bill 3 weeks later that i owed money for damages (aka I left a rug, some dried dog food on the ground, and a stain on the rug) and it was $400. BUT because I didn't live there for ten days, they took off rent. They wouldn't let me move out early because I had to pay the full lease but they took off rent because I didn't live there the full lease? Complete contradiction. OH and I didn't live there for 45 days. 4. Terrible management--I'd like to think that the property managers and sales associates are told what to say and actually have a heart, but the twisting of their words and false promises makes me lose hope that they do. Everything is not their problem, but another person's problem. They'll be the first to talk smack about the other person on their team in order to look good. Just get it done and have one cohesive message. Don't sell. Greystar is a terrible company. You'll meet great neighbors who want to complain about the same things. For the money, the trouble isn't worth it. Run far far away.
