| - One kid, two girls, three rolls, four drinks...JK no drinks for us (we are more responsible drivers/parents than that) but not gonna lie those cocktails were calling my name. While the vibe is more bar/date night than family dining, they do have half booths and a few kid safe menu options.
Roll one, the tropical thunder, a spicy panko breaded shrimp with spicy krab and avocado topped with shrimp and pineapple salsa. The roll was definitely spicy, the salsa is the unexpected element that cools it down and sweetens it up, loved it.
Roll two, red hot chili pepper, spicy tuna roll topped with sashimi sliced tuna and a spicy chili aioli. It was not nearly as spicy as the name suggests, which was a little disappointing one the spicy meter.
We probably saved the best for last. For our final roll, we did Chuck Norris, no pun intended. If Chuck Norris were to eat sushi, he would poop out Pat Morita. And if Chuck Norris where to be a sushi, he would be a spicy salmon and panko crusted shrimp inside, topped with sashimi salmon, avocado, fresh squeezed lemon juice and togarashi. And he would be delectable.
