Amended Review:
After speaking with the Service Manager Jon, I was encouraged to come back to the dealership and have my vehicle inspected again with a walk through from a new service advisor. The service advisor Glenn and Jon both completed a visual inspection with me and explained the severity of a couple small issues I had with my vehicle. Both Jon and Glenn were very apologetic about my past experience and encouraged me to come back to get my vehicle serviced. I will be returning the first of the year to complete the small little items I needed repaired and will recommend that if anyone has any problems with the service department, ask to speak with Jon.
Thanks
Original Review:
Should have wrote this sooner but rarely get on Yelp. I brought my 1985 Buick Le Sabre in for an oil change and routine inspection in March 2016. The staff just stared me down because I brought my old car in for service. The service advisor assigned to my account came in and told me that my car needed $5,000 in repairs and that they were not able to find parts. I immediately pulled out my three ring binder that has all my service records going back to 1985 from the original owner and my service records from my ownership starting in 1998. I let him know the services he was recommending were already completed in Florida before the car was shipped and asked to see the problems for myself. I was told I couldn't for insurance liability concerns. He then told me, "whoever worked on your car did a number. You are better off calling the junk yard because the car is worth nothing". He then proceeded to tell me they would take the car off my hands. HA!!!! Are you kidding me!!!! I questioned the mileage on my invoice and the service advisor wanted to argue with me that my car has 189K and that it rolled over. I became very upset and told him he was dead wrong and needed to correct it on my invoice. The service advisor then scheduled me to bring the car back for $5,000 in repairs. Needless to say, I never returned with the car and went to another mechanic that told me that I did have 1 of the the 9 problems Coulter said and it would only cost $900.00 to fix. It got fixed. I was treated like a second class member at this dealership and will not return for service on my Buick. I will drive an hour out of my way to get my Buick serviced at another dealership.
