I visited this place a few weeks ago to use a Groupon that I purchased for myself over the holidays. I spend a lot of time on my feet, so I was very excited at the idea of being able to enjoy a foot massage for the bargain price of $20 for 30 minutes.
When I arrived, the two women at the front had trouble figuring out how to scan the Groupon....not their fault. They called their manager and the issue was quickly resolved.
I was then taken to the back for my foot massage and the woman left to get the foot bath. To be honest, the water was a little hot for my taste and she didn't ask about the temperature. She then began to speak quickly and offered me additional neck and back/full body massage. I politely declined--I just wanted to try out the place and gain a first experience. She then proceeded to massage my neck and shoulders gently, so as to persuade me to buy into the massage upgrade. I was uninterested and this was a huge turn off. She then continued on with my "foot massage" which was mediocre at best. She used rubber gloves which some type of oil that felt really strange. Not enjoyable. She also spent more time rubbing my calves in a repeated motion than actually massaging my sore feet as I was looking forward to.
One star because I was able to use the Groupon and didn't lose too much. The other because it's closer to home than other massage parlors I know of.
