This update is for the new VR experience. I must say it was a lot of fun! I felt more scared that the regular non VR experience. I think its because you dont really see where you're going or you dont see the track direction. I cant say too much detail for I dont want to ruin it for future riders. But I deffinaly screamed and laughed out loud more during the VR coaster. I know it doesn't make sense for me to give it 3 stars when it seems I had more fun. But I didnt like the graphic's quality at all. It was like graphics from the late 90s/early 2000s video games. The PS4 VR is way more advance that this. I guest yeah it was a good idea and experience for Vegas to offer but not only that the regular roller coaster ride fee went up, the VR is another up charge of $5 more which totals to $20 for one ride.
Also if it's your first time and are non local, it is now $15 for the regular coaster. And if you want to do the VR after, its another $20. No discount or what so ever is offered to re ride, vise versa.
Locals still get a discount on regular/non VR coaster. I believe its $13 per ticket of up to four tickets per local ID/Driver's License.
MGM hotels started charging for parking now and have recently increase the fees in the pass couple of months. The roller coaster price is now a quite of a rip if you ask me as an addition to the parking fees. I know its still complimentary to park for an hour, but still.
