I'm honestly somewhat surprised at how bad the reviews for Creamistry are. While it's not my favorite ice cream place in the world, I do still come by occasionally with friends. I definitely agree that it's pretty pricey, but I feel like if you choose to come here, you're also choosing to pay for the novelty of watching them freeze it in front of you with the liquid nitrogen.
I've never really had bad service here, but also nothing exemplary - the one or two minutes it takes to order and pay are kind of short to have a remarkably good or bad experience. I love the consistency of the ice cream with the normal base! I also like that they have matcha and taro, since they're less common among ice cream shops in the area. Coconut milk is a pretty tasty base as well, it seems a bit denser and seems to increase the volume of the ice cream!
I think if you're willing to pay more than the average cup of ice cream, it's pretty cool to see them make it in front of you. Otherwise, there are plenty of other ice cream options in AZ!
