  • After entering Red Rock many times through the fee area, I finally checked out Calico Basin! It's the prettiest side of Red Rock, and NO FEE to enter makes it even sweeter. I went passed the parking lot a bit farther down the road and parked at the end of the trail. I was there in the middle of the afternoon in the middle of summer, so there weren't a whole lot of other people out there. The trails I did were gorgeous, but not too difficult.
