| - I purchased my Subaru BRZ here last November. I feel like it has been the perfect car for me, and I would highly recommend it. It's sporty, reliable, and amazingly fun to drive. I test drove both the BRZ and the comparable Scion version that costs a little less, and I would definitely say it's worth the bit of extra money to go for the Subaru; it just feels like a more expensive car, and it shifts better in my opinion. The car buying process was fairly low pressure and went quite smoothly.
But what has made me want to come and write this review was my experience today with the service department. As we all know, the Arizona summer is a killer of car batteries, and mine ended up dying a rapid death this morning. I had opted for the 3-year extended warranty when I bought my car, and it turned out that the battery was included in that (which I completely did not expect, especially in Arizona!). Subaru roadside assistance came to my location at no charge and offered to tow it to the nearest Subaru dealer for the free replacement (the tow would've been free too) or jump start it so I could drive it to the dealer. I opted for the jump start, but since I was at work, I couldn't get it to Chandler until after 4 PM. I had been told that the technicians typically go home at 4:30, so I wasn't expecting it to be fixed today. However, the service staff ended up staying late and fixing it right then and there for me. By a little after 5, I had a free new battery and was on my way home. Thanks so much to Dulce and the rest of the service staff for making it happen!
The snacks and Starbucks coffee they have available while you wait are nice perks too... :)
