While I enjoyed the cleanliness of the space, the reclining seats, and the expanded items of food offerings, I cannot recommend this movie theater for one reason and one reason alone, the admission price. The fact that I paid $14 for a matinee is wildly outrageous. Just because it's in Scottsdale doesn't negate the fact that it is one theater of many with reclining seats. I typically go to the AMC Esplanade because they are more affordable and have just as comfortable viewing experience as any theater. Nothing was out of the ordinary to charge such an inflated price for a matinee. It wasn't in 3D, there wasn't any D-Box seating. I saw an indie film in the afternoon. I do not see how this location can survive charging such insultingly high prices. I do not think I will be back since I can see 2 films at other nice theaters for the price of one here.
