  • Not a bad airport....it sure beats Lambert, but that's not hard to do so I guess probably neither here nor there. I actually did not have a problem getting through security but my co-worker who lived in Arizona for a while told me that's pretty rare, actually. I guess we lucked out? Bought a jar of honey from one of the news-stand type of stores with souvenirs and it's actually pretty dope. Honey made from saguaro cactus flowers. I put it in my tea every morning and enjoy. Also got some scorpion lollipops which are too cool to eat (the woman said they are farm raised scorpions, hahahaha! I guess they gotta be FDA approved?!) Had no issues with this airport otherwise, though it did take a while to get our luggage upon arrival. Also a bit weird that you have to take the shuttles to the rental car place but we didn't wait long for one!
