During a conversation about fried chicken at work (what can I say? I'm a fried chicken enthusiast), my coworker recommended Blue Ribbon to me. It's on the opposite side of Las Vegas for us, but it was worth the commute.
Location - It's on the North end of Downtown Summerlin. There's easy parking and entertainment if you want to walk or shop off the calories after lunch or dinner. The restaurant has plenty of seats and lots of natural lights. I love sitting by the window and watching dogs walk by.
Food - Best fried chicken in Vegas! We ordered the chicken tenders and wings during our first visit. The seasoning gives a little kick to the typical fried chicken dish. The French fries are just the right amount of crispy and there's so, so many different sauces to choose from. We also ordered the Mac n' cheese. It wasn't the most memorable dish compared to the rest but chicken and macaroni and cheese just feels right together. During our second visit we ordered the Firebird sandwich and the Rancher sandwich. The Firebird sandwich was so spicy (just the way I like it, hehe) and my boyfriend seemed to really enjoy his lunch as well. The sandwich is a pretty hefty size and I could only eat about half of it. On top of that, there's special sodas and iced teas.
Service - The cashier was really nice. He offered his recommendations and made conversation - something that a lot of people falter to do. It progressively got busier as we ate and everyone was still getting helped.
After eating the best fried chicken of my life when vacationing, fried chicken didn't taste good anymore anywhere else but shout out to Blue Ribbon for being 10/10 and existing in Vegas!
