  • What a lifestyle center! This place isn't just for shopping, it really puts Brossard on the map for all things trendy. Dix 30 first became famous for their Cineplex movie theater and Wal Mart, which remains one of their most popular stores, but it truly is like a city of its own. You can find anything there. Tons of stores for all budgets, including a new area called The Square which features name brands with soon opening Micheal Kors and a Holt Renfrew warehouse style project called H2. There are plenty of restaurants, a night club, an arena, supermarkets, day care, doctor's clinic, a concert hall, hotel, spa, etc. They are continuously building and adding new businesses so a simple check at their website will give you a nice list. Main drawback is getting around, you definitely need to drive to go from one store to the next as it is extremely spaced out. The parking lots in some areas are very large, for stores like Wal Mart, Winners, Canadian Tire- but in the smaller sections it's hard to find parking and few actually want to use their free underground parking. There is a bus, # 35 that can get you to Dix 30 from the Panama Terminal but it doesn't come often and won't make enough stops.
