| - Just awesome. I had once scoop each of their coconut icecream and vegan dark chocolate icecream (if these were frozen yogourt, I didn't notice, as I didn't notice any of their selections being frozen yogourt, but see it on their site... ok lol) and had them in a waffle cone.
Waffle cone was plain, cheap, nothing brag worthy, but wasn't bad either. Just would have preffered a more interesting type since it's their only cone I saw, meaning they bulk up on it, and it was expensive.
Their coconut icecream was honestly amazing. I've never seen coconut ice cream before, and they let me test it first. The coconutflavor doesn't hit you until later, and it's really good, nice and clean, not overly sweet, but I wouldn't want to eat it by itself, it needs a buddy flavor.
I tried their vegan dark chocolate ice cream, and it was very strong and sweet. It was good, but I wouldn't want to eat it alone, it needs a buddy. So I figured to team them up together in a waffle cone. The coconut helped tone down the chocolate, but the chocolate overpowered the coconut and ended up tasting like a regular chocolate and vanilla combo, which is a waste of these really great and unique flavors, that taste homemade.
Paying 5$ for 2 scoops on a waffle cone, I would have preffered a more interesting cone. Waffle cones are my favorite, but this one was too cheap. Maybe if it was a little thicker and had it's top rim dipped in chocolate or at least had fudge in the bottom corner inside of the cone, then that would have been really worth the money and had been exciting.
They gave me a stamp card, where if i buy a total of 9 items then I get a free item at the end. I wouldn't mind coming back here, but I'll have to look for an excuse since I don't visit often, and this ice cream place isn't exactly what I would call worth traveling a 30 min drive for, eventhough it is better than most I've tried.
