  • ok. I thought this place was main street cupcakes, but apparently they have changed owners, so it took me a bit to realize and find them on yelp! I stopped in one morning on my way in to work. I was having a business luncheon with a few people and literally only needed a few cupcakes. no big deal. very easy. I ordered just plain vanilla cuppies. to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. the fact that I actually shared these with business colleagues is embarrassing. I, too tasted the cupcakes and was extremely disheartened. I could tell as soon as I started to remove the paper that the cake was old/dry. I wish that I could say this was not true. The other colleagues told me that their cupcakes were not fresh as well. I should mention that I stopped in the shop early in the morning, right around 10am. These were definitely not freshly baked and tasted definitely like the day before or even possibly a third day old. I am a huge cupcake girl and I love nothing more than eating a soft, moist, FRESH cupcake. The fact that I had brought these to members of the team was slightly embarrassing to say the least. Although the only thing I did try were the cupcakes, I can not leave a review on other menu items. I will say that the inside of the store was adorable. It would be a great place to drink coffee and meet up, although they are not open much later than 5pm or 6pm. I hate leaving a bad review, but honesty is my thang. I hope that this was just an off day for the bakery and perhaps they can try harder to provide FRESH treats for their customers in the future!
