I appreciate the great review from the guy before me that helped me to decide on Eagle Gun. I was not at all disappointed with my decision. I brought a coworker from Japan for his first time shooting and this was the best place for a first-time shooter experience.
If you have never shot at their range before they start you off with a short 5-10 minute eHow style video on general gun and range safety and ethics. I'm familiar with the stuff but it's very educating and a good refresher! You then sign a waiver and they set you up with a lane in their range. It's pretty big; just over 15 lanes. I've been to a lot of different ranges but their setup is the most modernized. The buttons for adjusting your target distance actually displays the distance you're shooting at. They also have a lot of choices for range guns. You can even shoot a suppressed Walther P22 and feel like James Bond if you so desire. AND this is the first range I've seen to allow shooting long guns even including AR15s and the like.
Staff is friendly and the patrons are too. Gun shops are always great for just some good casual conversation and a good safe time. They've got a good selection of guns, ammunition and accessories, though I've seen places with many more choices before. If I'm out this way again I'll be sure to stop by.
