For as long as I can remember I've seen this hotel on the water of Toronto. So it's definitely not a new hotel. The outside is a bit dated but you walk in and it feels like a brand new hotel!
It's a busy hotel though, with a conference center attached to it you can be sure to have lots of people. It's got a bustling hotel bar downstairs with multiple locations to just sit. There are tvs in around the area to just lounge too.
The rooms, well granted we got a really nice room with a 180 view of the water, so I can't complain about it. But you can't always be that lucky right?
One thing I can say is with so many rooms/floors, elevators can be a problem. But I never found trouble getting the elevator here.
The driveway I'd say is the one big issue here. I can see what they were trying to do with the zig zag to get people in and out and the two lanes at the top. Definitely needs someone there (and there is) to help traffic, but it still always has a traffic jam there.
The staff, super friendly, I spoke with one guy and he helped and made sure my stay was perfect and above par.
Thanks for a fantastic time!
