| - The Apple Store at Eaton--aka, the rich suburban kid hangout?
Whenever I've been in here, I've wanted to make my purchase and leave ASAP. My lack of hipness should prevent me from even being allowed in. Crowded with way too much youth and buzz for me. The only times I go are when I need some odd thing nobody else has and I don't wish to deal with duty and customs.
It is very modern here--I think I remember wondering, "Ok, I found what I need, now how the heck do I pay for this?!" People on the floor can help you with wireless transactions.
When I've needed help, I've received good service. And as mentioned, they pretty much have everything you'd need Apple wise: software, input/output, storage & memory. They even sell that DJ midi device that came out a few years ago.
I think fellow Apple fans can find most of the same stuff elsewhere in the city. And if you want used, there are places for that as well beyond criagslist or kijiji. It is amazing how older Macs, even those 4+ years older, still do a good enough job with the basic software.
Recommended--but mostly for the younger set with Mummy and Duddy's credit card to use.
