  • Gotta have to say, the latest experience has not changed my opinion of this store..for the most part. Beware, my review is long, as it covers lots of details. In case you were wondering from my previous review, I actually did manage to get a corgi! But this was not because the workers promised to call me. By the way, I think the waiting list is a bad idea considering my previous experience (which I will keep up for reference). If you are not calling people to update them, the waiting list does nothing but give the customer false hope. Anyway, back to the tale of how I acquired Bebop the corgi. So by sheer luck (or destiny?), a friend who knew I was looking for a corgi was at the store when they happened to get a couple of puppies in. You best believe my butt was in the store the next day! I approached the situation with a lot of hesitance considering I was still a bitter Betty from my last experience (the pettiness is a struggle, y'all). However, whatever caution I had completely deflated when I saw those babies. Seriously, have you guys ever seen a corgi puppy? They bring furry sausage body realness. So of course I'm already smitten with the puppy, so it took about 10 minutes to deliberate whether or not I wanted to make the purchase despite her costing about $2,500 (obvious note: These dogs are not cheap so do not expect to come in here paying only a couple hundred dollars. The store probably has to pay the breeders, the puppy's transportation costs, considering my corgi comes from Oklahoma--not to mention vet treatments prior to their adoption...so we as the customer are making up for the costs. But feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). The employee processed her paperwork fast & efficiently. He explained payment options to me. Apparently you can opt to pay the puppy off using a payment plan, but I BELIEVE there is interest after a certain amount of time--I don't really remember though 'cuz Bebop was paid for in full lol. Along with her medical paperwork, we got some stuff from the AKC, and an initial vet visit was also covered--however, the vet did not actually want to see Bebop, they just wanted a sample of her poop. Not sure what's up with that, but ok! It has not been a big deal though, since Bebop is a healthy and happy pup. I have had her for a month now and *canned fur parent comment* can't imagine life without her around causing havoc. All in all, despite my previous experiences... I had a pleasant buying experience this time around. And my puppy is DA BOMB! So... would I recommend Puppy Boutique? Yeah, I would. I also give some props to Paul, the owner, for reaching out to me after my initial review; it shows a lot of professionalism to hold the business accountable as well as explain some of the details to me as a customer.
