  • Visited this restaurant last Sat. with good friends we frequently dine-with. We've always liked this place, the ambience and casual atmosphere. Much surprised to see a new menu (been away too long apparently). The meal: Wait person made a big deal about tips and drinks are not included in Restaurant Week promo. We weren't there for that reason, never mentioned it. My wife asked for horseradish to accompany her fillet, was told " I'll check with the Chef, I think we took it off the menu." Say what? Our nothing-special meals were served, and within minutes of having desert our checks were presented. Problem: We never asked for them, and the server took the liberty to assigned orders to separate checks without being asked to do so. We normally split the check. Overall the price paid for food and drinks was high. Might go back, but not for a while. Sorry.
