  • I don't know.... I feel like this place takes advantage of a bit of a monopoly they have. There aren't any other places that are walking distance from campus and I think the prices and services reflect that. Twice now I have had a tune up that is quoted at $99-$139 and it has exceeded that. The first time I elected to replace some parts but it was after I picked up the bike and realized it was not repaired properly. I elected to replace the parts but it was annoying to have to bring it back to get it working right. The second time (last week) I brought my wife's relatively new Raleigh in for service...quoted $99 - $139 and it ended up being $147. Yes, its a small difference but it makes me wonder how many bikes that need a tune up and only end up costing $99. Trail This by Verona road only charges $70 for a tune up. The customer service is bizarre too (except Andy Z). They are so dismissive and make you feel like you are interrupting them. A little "Even though it may feel like I am ignoring you I do see you and I will be with you shortly" or "I know I am laser focused on this bike but I see you standing there and I can answer questions until I get to a good stopping point" would go a long way. I suggest they hire someone to focus entirely on intake, phone calls, and check outs so the techs can focus on repair.
