| - Are all Tempe establishment reviewers this overspoken and pretenteous? Damn, people. It's a cheesesteak. Get over yourselves.
Now, on to Geno's...
$9 for a cheesesteak is pretty steep, but it would appear that they try to give you your money's worth. I got a Provolone Original Steak Philly (can't stand whiz on steak) and it was delicious. Next time I'll probably ask to hold the mayo, but that's my fault for not reading the entire description. Fantastic portion of steak, though. And it was made very well.
If this was THE best cheesesteak I could get in Tempe, I'd be a little disappointed. If this was the ONLY cheesesteak I could get, I wouldn't be sad. It was very good.
Pretty impressive tap list too, for a sandwich joint. I guess that's the norm in these parts, but I'm a new resident so when I see it, I'm impressed.
The location is pretty crappy from an automotive perspective, but again, this is the norm in Tempe and something I'll have to get used to.
I'm sure I'll be back unless I find a better tasting better deal at one of the other umpteen Yelp results, but I did want to try this place first.
