| - So, let me preface this review by stating that I have been to several RC Willey stores in different states and have not always had the same experience. The 5 star rating is directly related to the specific sales associates who assisted me and made my experience a very positive one.
RC is nice because they have a wide variety of options, styles and pieces to select from and large show rooms for you to be able to actually see and feel the items before you purchase. As everyone knows, furniture quality and color don't always look the same online as they do in person and this is vital to the process. The once annual delivery fee is great because now, I will likely be obtaining more items once the bulk of my furniture arrives, is placed and I can see what else I may like to add.
The best part of my shopping experience was absolutely the sales associates. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Kalin S. for furniture and Michael H. for electronics. Kalin is exceptional. I had family in from out of town to help me choose furniture for a new 3 bedroom home and had to basically furnish the entire thing other than one small couch, mattresses and couple of other misc items. I will also say that my family and I squabbled throughout the entire time (yeah, it was a little embarrassing), asked for help, additional measurements, other fabric choices, for assistance with products not on the showroom floor, more measurements, etc. Kalin was exactly what I needed to help quell the family drama...er....I mean deliberation. He was never pushy, never stepped in when not asked but when needed, provided direction and information even when we weren't exactly clear on what it was that we were looking for. We came in about 4 days in a row and spent a lifetime (OK, OK, probably about ten hours) sifting through options. Kalin made himself available whenever we needed him and went above and beyond to put up with our drama and make us all feel at ease with the process and selections. Mike also did a really great job of directing me to the TVs and sound equipment best suited to my specific needs and was able to answer all of my questions easily when I wasn't entirely certain. I then went home to research the info he provided and it was certainly on point.
I have not yet received my furniture from this most recent trip to RC but have had friends and family shop here often and quality vs cost has always been good. I will update once my items arrive. I anticipate everything will turn out nicely.
Overall, this was by far, one of the best experiences furniture shopping both my family and I have had (and between us, we have had many) all due mostly to our sales associates doing such a nice job, being friendly, not overly pushy as they are in some stores (I actually left stores before even looking at the furniture because the sales associate would not leave us alone to look) and also having knowledge about the products. I can't say the same for the billing department at this store, sadly. But at the end of the day, we all left feeling really great AND nobody was strangled in the area rug department!
If you are serious about looking for and buying furniture, I would 100% recommend you simply walk into this store, directly ask for these two guys right from the get go and you won't be disappointed. Great job. Thank you!!
