I'm going to echo some of my fellow Yelpers about this show.
While I truely thought that the Lion King was marvelous as far as it's innovative stage and costume design, I found the pacing of the show itself to be a little bit of a snooze fest. I admit, I have a huge case of ADD, but my husband absolutely thought everything was fabulous. My review is kind of an average score of both of our impressions of it.
I took some movie and stage production design college courses the "first" time I went to college as a film major a long time ago, so I really appreciate the creativity that was put into this show. It is really incredible what they have done, and worth going to just for that.
Since this show is going away at the end of the year to make way for some stupid Michael Jackson Le Cirque show, everyone should see this before it is gone.
