| - Roasted Corn with Spicy Aji Sauce: This is placed at your table to snack on. The roasted corn is amazing. A bit difficult to dip in the aji, but so great together. Also, the aji sauce really packed a kick, yow!
Causa de Pollo ($9.95): Classic Peruvian appetizer of mashed potato layers, stuffed with chicken salad, and a mild aji sauce. Served with boiled egg, and pickled red onion. The potatoes are really creamy and go so well with the chicken salad mixture. The pickled red onion provides the perfect balance to this creamy dish.
Yuquitas Fritas ($8.95): Fried yucca root with Peruvian dipping sauce. I love yucca root! The dipping sauce was creamy and delicious. We loved mixing it with the spicy aji sauce.
Bistec a lo Pobre ($17.95): Beef steak with grilled onion, fries, white rice, fried plantain, and fried egg. Very similar to the popular Lomo Saltado, except this dish doesn't have tomato and is served with fried sweet plantain and fried egg. The beef was flavorful and tender. Everything was delicious, though I didn't care for the fried plantain in this combination.
Tallarines Verdes con Carne ($15.95): Thin steak with pesto spaghetti. Again, the steak was great. The pasta was just okay for me.
Great spot to try Peruvian specialties. Everything was great and service was fantastic. They were so accommodating.
