Not impressed. Came here after reading the reviews and hearing that it is a Pittsburgh staple. The service was nothing memorable but wasn't bad. The atmosphere is a over crowded typical diner. I do give them props for there eggs and bacon light fixture. Sadly I don't go to restaurants for decor. The food was bad. I got a omelette with toast, my friend got their pancakes. The omelette was blend and among the worst diner omelettes I have tried. There was no freshness to the eggs nor meats. My toast was swimming in butter, I actually scraped two layers off. The pancakes that they are famous for....tasted like thinly fried butter. More like state fair food than a restaurant. I will be sticking to traditional pancakes. There are way to many diners around here to give them a second chance.
