I don't know why people here claim that you don't know sushi if you give this restaurant a good review. i have been coming to this restaurant for over a year and I come for sit-down lunch or dinner or get take-out sushi 1-3 times per month.
The sushi is fresh and tasty, the rolls are original and imaginative (try the Rhode Island roll!), and the service is friendly and efficient. Some of the sushi chefs do add too much rice to some of the rolls, but it's not stale by any means. Some restaurants are more generous with their sashimi, but it's still reasonably priced. I don't find the prices to be any more expensive than other places, and their sushi is very good. I take friends and family here all the time and they are always impressed, whether seasoned sushi fans or beginners. I have never had a bad roll or piece of fish here. I still recommend this place and will continue to do so.
No idea why the reviews for this place seem to be hit or miss. I have always had good experiences at Koi.
