I did some research on yelp to find a place to stay on my visit to Charlotte and I want to rate it a 4 but I can't.
- The suite was nice and clean equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave and dishes etc.
- Parking was very convenient and really cheap for a NYer for $26 per day.
- convenience a big plus as it was centrally located near everything downtown
- staff was really nice except for room service who walked into my room twice without a knock and I wasn't exactly fully dressed but I'm not shy
- breakfast was free from 6:30 to 10 on the weekend and 9 during the week. There was A woman making omelettes and good for me I'm an early riser. The food changed a bit each day but had eggs, one toaster that needed some force to fully engage the toaster. Fresh OJ, cereal, bacon, pancakes, fruit etc. I enjoyed my breakfasts there and it was FREE.
- pool I would hardly call that a pool on the 7th floor of the hotel. 2 people it's comfortable but 4 are a crowd in that pool
- laundry area located on the 7th floor is a convenience you don't normally see in a hotel
- gym there are 8 work out machines and hardly should be called a gym for a hotel of that size and prestige
- business center had three computers that required someone at the front desk to connect you and can only print boarding pass on one of them
- bar and restaurant was spacious and clean and doubles as the breakfast area was more than average.
- security it's either good or bad depending if you want to be discreet. I saw no cameras anywhere to include in the halls, front desk or outside.
I loved my stay in Charlotte and it was a fantastic place to visit and I was looking to invest in properties here but when you sit down and compare this hotel to others I have been to I have to fairly rate this hotel vs others I've stayed at. However I will come back to this hotel on my next trip to Charlotte.
