So much LOVE for this place!
Stumbled upon this cute little shop while waiting for my friends to watch a movie next door. What I didn't expect was to feel a sudden rush of nostalgia as soon as I walked in the door.
The man, who I assumed to be the owner, was very welcoming. He briefly talked to us when we first walked in the store and I overheard some of his conversations with the other visitors of his shop. He makes genuine conversations with the people that walk in and he shares the love he has for his shop. That in itself is convincing enough to make us frequent the store.
As a bonus, there is a wide selection of candies in the store. There is a row of buckets filled with different types of taffy on the entire right side of the wall. In the middle of the store, you will find an array of candies as well as sodas with retro packaging. At first I was worried that some of their items would simply be for memorabilia since I haven't seen some of these candies in over 10 years! But I checked the expiration date and I'm so pleased to share that they're actually edible! They also have other items such as tin posters and movie goodies!
This is a great place to buy candy before the movies or maybe even to purchase gifts for the retro-lover in your life! But either way, stop by and check this place out. You won't regret it!
