  • This Smith's is the only regular grocery store in the neighborhood Vons and Albertsons have left. Alternatives are Asian and Mexican markets. Beware to check expiration and best dates. Bread in the bakery section is often stale. Baking supplies such as baking powder and cornstarch hover on the soon to expire time. An argument would be these products are still good but why pay top dollar for them. Frozen pie crust is always cracked. Meats on sale most often only found in a small case at the door. Watch for stinky fish, fresh fish does not smell.
