  • Monday, September 1, 2014: DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist! Their first stop on the tour where they played Afrika Bambastta's records. (Truly excellent show--the best DJ gig I have ever witnessed.) For a huge space where the emphasis is more on dancing than standing and watching, this place is good. I was able to get a drink easily enough at the beginning and didn't have to pay too much for it. Security seemed fine. Sight lines were OK. Sound was good. Again, this isn't the 4 Seasons, right? I was even able to get a bus for the ride home. I'd go again if somebody was playing that I really wanted to see.
