The covered patio overlooking the river makes for a great lunch spot. There are ceiling fans and you are out of the sun. You can watch boats go by in the river and all the cyclists moving past on the path below. I felt like I was at the German venue in Epcot with the music, the decor, the costumes, etc. Maybe it feels authentic to Germany, too. I wouldn't know because I've never been there.
Warm, soft pretzels are my #1 favorite snack and these were excellent. I would absolutely come again just to have MOAR PRETZELS!
For lunch I had some wurst with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. All was good.
I tried a flight of all their beers, and they were all fine. Nothing incredibly memorable. Five different things gave me plenty to drink over the course of our meal. Seems like a great place to have fun with friends. I recommend this for a visit.
I'm told it gets very, very loud inside when it is busy, so this would not be great for chatting, unless you sit outside.
