| - I had visited the Clique on Memorial Day and I had a fun time. The DJ was wonderful, the waiters/waitresses constantly checking in on table-cleaning..Prices, pretty high, for a typical drink ($18+). I had been brought here by a group of friends to celebrate their graduation from law school. We had a great time, it was pretty packed for that day.
I took a friend to the CLIQUE the following Monday, high expectations for the lounge, since I decided to come back. We sat down, ordered appetizers-(the 4 mini lobster tacos) and slider with fries (totaled $50) and then we decided to try the Table Side Mixology- totaling ($55)
We waited about 20 mins for both food and the mixologist. The food came out first, we were surprised at the size of the tacos for the price, but they were very tasty!
The mixologist experience was great, he came to our table, chatted with us about our choice, and began mixing the special drink. As we sat and ate- we enjoyed the DJ and the vibe. As the lounge started getting busier a gentlemen came up to us (only us) and said we needed to move because the owner was there. Confused and caught off guard, I asked him why, and he said it was the owners favorite seat. Mind you, it is only me and one other female sitting at our table. The gentlemen(who I now know is the doorman) left. I asked a waiter to speak with the manager about the unprofessional ism and embarrassment. The manager's response was, 'He was not suppose to say it like that. He was suppose to tell you that we were going to give you a round (of shots) before." No one else was asked to move! I had invited a long time friend to this lounge with high regards, just to be shown that customer service is the least of their worries. I will not be going back to the Clique any time soon.
